- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆A great museum for all ages. It's well laid out, and the displays aren't too busy so they're easy to read and interpret. There's a room with a big 360 degree photo of Ballarat in its early days, and it's fantastic. Its got some interactive features which really bring it to life. I loved looking at all the real gold on display. I'd highly recommend bringing international family and friends here, it's a great insight into Australian history.By Holly R, February 01, 2017
